HEAVY METALS AND HUMAN HEALTH: The silent threat we can no longer ignore.
Every day, we breathe air, drink water, and eat food without giving much thought to the invisible contaminants they may contain. What are HEAVY METALS?

When individuals present with persistent neurological or psychological symptoms that remain unexplained, environmental exposure history may provide valuable clinical insight. Collaboration between physicians, psychologists, public health professionals and environmental scientists can improve prevention, early detection and intervention.

Their effects often accumulate gradually, affecting multiple organs while subtly influencing cognition, behaviour, and emotional well-being. As scientific understanding continues to evolve, it is becoming increasingly clear that environmental exposures deserve greater attention within both physical and mental healthcare.
